My Shanti Review

September 4, 2017 by Joseph Leave a Comment

This is My Shanti’s ‘Vikram’s favourite snack’.It is almost like a pizza, but not quite because the bread part is naan. The naan is nice and crisp, and then there are portabello mushrooms which are perfectly cooked. The cashews add a nice crunch to the whole dish. I would give this dish 4.3 stars.

These are their delicious samosas. In the samosas there are chicken, lamb, and beef. The meats all work perfectly together. It has lots of beautiful spices and aromatics. It is a must try. I would give this dish 5 stars.

This is there awesome Eggplant bharta with sweet peas which is very good. It is spicy. It has lots of flavour in it. The eggplant is nice and creamy. The peas add a nice refreshing taste to the whole dish. I would give it 4.7 stars.

In the top left corner, it is their pork Goa. It is a vindaloo which is like a stew. It has some very nice pungent spices and  it is aromatic. The pork is so tender, it just falls apart when  you pick it up with your fork. It is a bit spicy. I would give this dish 4.7 stars.

In the top right corner, it is their chicken korma, which is a beautiful curry. It is a lot milder then the pork Goa. The chicken is also very tender. The curry is very good, it has a lot of nice spices in it. Also, the cashews give a nice crunch and flavour to the curry. I would give this dish 4.9 stars. You should try it.

In the bottom left coroner, it is their cauliflower & potato. This dish has a bit of spice to it. It is very good. The potato adds a bit of crunch to it, and the cauliflower adds that nice vegetable feel to it. I would give this dish 4.6 stars.

On the right bottom coroner, it is their naan bread. Their naan has lots of flavour in it. It is nice and crisp. I would give there naan 5 stars.

In the middle, there is their rice which is very good. I would give there rice 5 stars.

Overall I would give My Shanti 5 stars. It has a excellent service because they know the menu very well, and they make sure you have a great experience. The decorations are amazing. I also love the grape vines in the courtyard. It is worth going to South Surrey, British Columbia. Visit their website.
