Bonne Vie Bakery

Baking is a passion of ours, and we love sharing it with family and friends. We are now sharing it with everyone through Edmonton’s newest micro bakery – Bonne Vie Bakery.

We specilaize in making artisan sourdough breads with only flour, water and salt. We love this bread and know you will too! These breads take many days to create with long fermentation using Lagertha – our sourdough starter.

As well as more traditional sourdough loaves, we will also be creating other breads like Cheddar and Jalapeno, Pumpkin, Pumpernickel and many more. We will also offer other baked goods at different times like cookies, brownies, hamburger buns, squares, cakes and much more!

We are new and getting everything set up. We will post what and when we are baking on our Instagram account. When we do this, you will be able to message us for your preorder. When our bake days are fully committed, preorders will close.

A few words on ingredients. We try to source ingredients locally if we can and develop relationships with our key suppliers. Where we can, we also use organic ingredients. All the flours we use, at this time, are locally sourced and organic. We believe in using quality ingredients in our baking to show off the flavours. We will make baked goods that are nut free, but we will also produce items with nuts. We are careful to ensure that there is no cross contamination, but cannot guarantee anything is nut free.

We look forward to providing the Edmonton area with the most amazing sourdough and appreciate your support for local businesses.

      Hi Glynn, Our email is info@bonneviebc.com also you can sign up for notifications on our soon to be open online store at bonneviebc.com.

      We are not taking any orders at the moment and plan to resume the week of December 7. The reason for the break is we found out that a classmate of our child has tested positive for COVID-19, and as such he needs to isolate for 14 days. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to not do any bakes during this time until we are certain that we can proceed in a safe manner for our family and for you our customers.
